Has an error message that pops up too often. This app should be able to operate without wi-fi but it does not. Too bad.

Got it out of curiosity. Lots of features. Wish I had this when I was a 13F forward observer in the Army.

I am comfortable and happy with the information I get from this app. Gets the job done. But can do without the error messages popping up.

This is one of my favorites. I am pretty picky. It does quite a bit for its size. Great Job

A great app that has the potential to corner the gps market with a few revisions. I find a couple of minor flaws that should be fixed in an app that you pay for. Id pay 10x the price for a few revisions. 1. You cant set your default units in the app - defaults to meters 2. You cant change the barometric display - you get kPa thats it 3. Needs to function when you are not connected to WiFi 4. Put the compass in the foreground on downloadable maps from US govt sources

Its pretty accurate and really like the GPS coordinates down to a needle almost.

Some bad moments

All of the updates of the last weeks are buggy. First I didnt find the new maps. Then the app begun to crash. It is a pity as the altimeter itself works good.

This was once a good altimeter, using the GPS features to calculate the altitude. Other use maps data. Nevertheless, the developer destroyed the good functionality by many updates during the recent weeks. I deleted the app now.

I updated 4.30 to 4.31, but crashes again. I very disappointed. Please fix as soon as possible.

Save your money! On my copy: 1) The altimeter keep swinging over a 10 meter range 2) The longitude had the last two digits missing 3) The compass was swinging wildly, and never even pointed North once 4) I tried to contact the App writer but my message was returned.

Terrible accuracy. Standing on the Atlantic Ocean beach at Charleston SC and the app told me I was at 95 ft above sea level. The other features at nice but the poor accuracy makes it worthless.

I downloaded the lite version of this app for my latest cross country trip. We hiked up over 14,000ft in Colorado with no service and this apps altimeter, compass, and GPS worked perfectly! Ive had a blast keeping track of our altitude from there down to below sea level in San Diego, and throughout the other 8000 miles of our trip. For .99c this upgrade is well worth it for the extras, to remove the ads, and to support the app makers for a great product! Thanks!
